Each bamboo plant is cut during the peak growth season, every 5 - 6 years. When the plant is at its growth peak, the bamboo stalks are at their strongest. This means that Bamboo Hardwoods can be used in high traffic homes and businesses.

Bamboo Bamboo Hardwoods Wood Flooring is not harmful to the environment and qualifies for LEED Credits. Bamboo is a renewable resource that has a quick growth cycle, between 5 - 6 years compared to the 10 - 100 year growth cycle of most common trees. When Bamboo is harvested, only the stocks are cut. The roots of the bamboo plant are left completely untouched. This allows the root to continually grow more stocks. Most commonly used trees are dead once they are harvested and cannot regrow.

All Bamboo Hardwoods Bamboo is grown in the temperate zones of China. All Bamboo Hardwoods are inspected from the beginning of the manufacturing cycle until the end. Then, before any wood floors leave the factory, they must pass a grueling 40 point inspection to be considered first quality.
