Commercial Wood Flooring can help create a warm and inviting feel to any business interior. Commercial Hardwood Flooring is available in all types of looks and textures that will be a great addition to any office space. All Commercial Wood Floors are designed to last and look amazing for many years.

Commercial Wood Flooring comes in two different types, each with distinct strengths and weaknesses. The two different types are Solid Wood Flooring and Engineered Wood Flooring.

The first type of wood flooring to consider is Solid Wood Flooring. Solid Wood is made of one solid strip of wood. Solid Wood flooring can only be used on or above grade level and can be re-sanded and re-finished multiple times. Solid Floors have a major weakness and can expand or contract due to changes in humidity. Solid Wood Floors should not be install anywhere where moisture levels could be extreme, such as restrooms or industrial kitchens.

The second type of flooring to ponder is Engineered Wood Flooring. Engineered Floors, unlike solid wood, are made of multiple layers of wood adhered together in a cross grain pattern. Engineered floors can be used on any grade level because they are more stable thanks to the manufacturing process. While not completely moisture resistant, humidity levels are not as problematic as with solid wood flooring. Engineered Wood can be installed over many different types of subfloors.
